ChatGPT is an artificial-intelligence (AI) chatbot developed by OpenAI and launched in November 2022. It’s come under some negative scrutiny recently and is currently banned in Italy pending a data protection investigation.

By its developer’s own admission, ChatGPT sometimes writes plausible-sounding but incorrect or nonsensical answers, but as Manoj Kochar at Holoflex found out when he asked the chatbot to come up with a poem about security holograms, the results can also be quite beautiful.

Security holograms, shimmering in the light, a gleam of hope, a symbol of might.

A protection from fraud and deceit, a guarantee of what is real and complete.

They guard our banks and currency with care, ensuring that our finances are fair.

In passports and ID’s, they keep watch, defending our identities with a watchful eye and touch.
